In the last post #204 we explored the two paths — the path of light and the path of darkness.
A common challenge we all face is this: we recognize these paths. We know what uplifts and what pulls us down — and yet, we find ourselves unable to stay consistently on the path of light.
Why does this happen?
Awareness alone isn’t enough.
The Bhagavad Gita tells us that even after recognizing the two paths, we must do one more thing:
Anchor ourselves in Yoga — in steady presence, in intentional living, in daily integration.
Just One Verse
Bhagavad Gita 8.27
नैते सृती पार्थ जानन् योगी मुह्यति कश्चन।
तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु योगयुक्तो भवार्जुन।।
Translation
"Having known these two paths, O Arjuna, the yogi is never deluded. Therefore, at all times, be steadfast in Yoga."

Just One Story.
We all received the same notice from the electric utility: they were replacing a piece of equipment—a splitter.
But one neighbor went beyond simply being aware. He stayed alert. Before the utility crew even arrived, he had already cleared the overgrowth around the old equipment.
Later, I met the utility technicians working in the area. I pointed out the pre-work done by the neighbor. They smiled and said it allowed them to finish their task nearly an hour earlier—and as a result, everyone had their power restored sooner.
This is Yoga in action.
It’s not just about sitting still or thinking noble thoughts.
It’s about acting with awareness, service, and presence.
Being ready. Being in tune.
Just One Reflection
What would staying in Yoga today look like for you — in one meeting, one meal, or one moment?
Reflect on What’s one small action today through which you can stay alert and be Yoga-yukta?
Pause. Breathe. Align. Walk on.
Thanks for reading, reflecting, and walking this path with me! Please share it with someone who walks the path besides you.
